Southwest Regional Testing Center

The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix will be a regional testing center where administrations of Step 1 and Step 2 Clinical Knowledge (CK) are anticipated to begin later this month. At this time, this center will only serve students from a Southwest consortium of schools:

  • University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix (host school)
  • University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson
  • University of New Mexico School of Medicine
  • Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine
  • A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine – Mesa
  • Creighton University School of Medicine - Phoenix
  • University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine
  • Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University

Students from these schools will be contacted by their medical school Dean’s Office (Student Affairs). Students should wait to hear from their Deans before taking any action to schedule or cancel a Prometric test center appointment. The institutions’ Dean’s Offices, in collaboration with Prometric and the USMLE program, will schedule eligible students for USMLE testing.
